Your data, plainly.
Last updated: November 1, 2026
Fomorrow is a free daily forecasting game run by The Fomorrow team at fomorrow.app. This policy explains what we store, why, for how long, and how you can remove it. Questions: wnstjd4504@gmail.com.
What we store
When you play as a guest
- A random player ID in an essential, HttpOnly cookie (
wikipulse_player, up to one year). It contains no name or email. - Your live forecasts and rewind answers: which question, which option you chose and when you submitted it, linked to that random ID.
When you connect an account
- Profile details from Google (or the email address you sign in with): name, email address, profile picture link and Google account identifier. We only request basic sign-in scopes; we cannot read your Gmail, contacts or files.
- Sign-in sessions, kept for up to 30 days, including the IP address and browser information recorded at sign-in for security.
- Your guest forecasts are moved into your account when you first sign in on that browser.
Stored only in your browser
Demo rounds and practice-archive attempts use your browser’s local storage. They never reach our server. You can clear them from the Privacy & data panel in the game.
Short-lived technical data
To prevent abuse, sign-in endpoints keep request counters keyed to IP address for a few minutes. Our server, which runs on Google Cloud, may keep standard request logs for operations and security.
Why we use it
- To run the game: record your picks, score them when results arrive, and show your history.
- To keep your record across devices when you choose to connect an account.
- To show the crowd split: after you lock a forecast, you see what share of all forecasters chose each option. Only anonymous totals are shown, and only once a question has at least five forecasts. No one can see who picked what.
- To keep the service secure and recoverable (sessions, rate limits, backups).
We do not sell your data, build advertising profiles, or share your picks, results or account details with advertisers. We do not load analytics scripts or external fonts.
Advertising
Sponsored spaces beside and below the game show ads from A-Ads, loaded inside a sandboxed frame. When an ad loads, your browser contacts A-Ads directly, so A-Ads receives standard request details such as your IP address and browser information. Their own privacy policy governs that data. Ad frames cannot read your game data or cookies on our site.
Who else processes data
- Google Cloud hosts our server and database.
- Google handles Google sign-in when you choose it.
- A-Ads serves the ads described above.
- Wikimedia provides the public, aggregate pageview data the game is built on. We never send your data to Wikimedia.
These providers may process data outside your country.
How long we keep it
- Account data and its forecasts: until you delete your account.
- Guest forecasts: while the service operates. If you clear your cookies, the record can no longer be linked to you.
- Sign-in sessions: up to 30 days, or until you sign out.
- Backups: private database backups are kept for up to 30 days, then deleted automatically. Deleted data disappears from backups within that window.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account at any time: open the account panel in the game and choose Delete account. This immediately removes your profile, sessions, linked sign-in methods and every forecast and rewind answer stored for the account.
- Remove Fomorrow’s Google access from your Google Account’s third-party connections page.
- Ask for a copy, correction or deletion of your data by emailing wnstjd4504@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object, restrict processing, or complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Fomorrow is not directed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Significant changes will be announced in the game.
